The Denon AVR A100 was released as part of a range to celebrate one hundred years of the company's existence. With this in mind it would have to be something special and it certainly delivers. All the latest features are available bringing together the high definition and internet experience while delivering flawless surround sound.

For absolute surround sound clarity it has a 9 channel amplifiers that are all discretely wired. Each mono amp channel produces 140W which is delivered to 4 ohm speakers. Digital connectivity is enhanced with Denon Link 4th which transmits at high speed with low signal loss. Six HDMI 1.4 inputs are placed at the back with another one in the front. There are also two outputs. The TV output is ARC enabled so that audio can be returned to be output though the surround system. The receiver can also retransmit a 3D signal.

Your iPod or iPhone can easily integrated using the Airplay application and there are two USB inputs. You can play digital content directly from either device by connecting with a USB cable and pressing play on the unit or it's remote. The internal processor will restore compressed audio to produce clean, high quality sound.

Online content can easily be accessed through a broadband connection and there are a host of features that are supported by this feature. It is possible to create a photo stream in high definition directly from flickr. You can access online radio with Pandora and also make use of Napster and Rhapsody. Both software and content can be downloaded directly and the Denon AVR A100 can even be remotely maintained.
