Your body will let you know when it is full but it takes time for the message to get to your brain. By slowing your eating down the message gets there before you have the chance to eat too much.

By performing this way of eating on a regular basis you will inevitably lose weight. What's more is that you will be doing it without thinking about it.

Another tip is to check the size of your plates. Some people irrespective of the size of their plates will fill the plate up to the brim when eating.

By loading a smaller plate with food you will effectively be reducing your intake. This will definitely help you to lose weight.

You could also fill half of your plate with vegetables before you start to pile up the food. By doing it this way at least half of your food intake will be healthy food. You could even try to eat more vegetables as a healthier option.
