During '10, These Four Musical Successes Will Thrive

By Matt Sampson

We come across pop music every day of our lives. Whether it's on the radio, in TV commercials, or movies, some of the songs penned by these mega stars are everywhere. Maybe it's because so many of the songs are incredibly addictive. With a handful of new stars in the mix, things have gotten interesting recently.

These household mega stars have paved the way toward greatness, and it should be interesting to see if they can maintain just as big a presence in the future.

Who are the biggest names in the pop music world entering the new year? Well, let's have a look at a few of them here.

First, there's the Jonas Brothers. It seems like every teenage girl is obsessed with these heartthrobs, as their clean cut image and catchy pop music has inspired a massive legion of fans. The brothers will continue to churn out hits as their popularity remains high.

How about Lady Gaga? Whether it was Poker Face, Bad Romance, or any other one of her hits, she was all over the place last year. Her shows sell out, and her music videos are highly anticipated.

Many believe that Lady Gaga will be the biggest name in pop music during the course of the next decade, and they could very well be right. Her music is catchy and original, and her image makes things even more interesting.

Taylor Swift's music may be a bit more low key than Lady Gaga's, but it's still excellent nonetheless. She has the looks and the personality to go with her musical talent, and this is never a bad thing when it comes to commercial success.

There's one more pop figure I'd like to mention, and this one is just months old as far as recognition goes. No one knew who Adam Lambert was a year ago, but he's now a household name thanks to American Idol.

Lambert has an absolutely huge fan base, and his debut release received some pretty high marks from critics. Expect to see more of this glam-rock singing talent for a while.
