If you want to Become Successful, you will face Failures

By Kathy Morgan

Think about failures you had in your life and what has happened afterwards. When you began to walk, I am certain you fell quite a few times. You got up and tried to walk again. Can you imagine today falling when you walk? Usually not, right? When you learned bicycling, did you ever fall? Sure you did and you got back on your bicycle and got good in bicycling. Did you pass every test at school? When you failed one, you learned a bit more and passed the next one. See, a failure is not such a bad thing. To get better in a certain subject, you have to take the risk to fail and then you get better and better, until you are an expert.

Most people are afraid of failing. They often do not even try something new and stay a failure. When you are not even trying you cannot win, you cannot become successful and not an expert. No one has been perfect when he began something new. If you start something new and you fail, do not give up, because the success comes after one or more failures.

Those, who are very successful, have failed several times. The success was an effect after they continued. Entrepreneurs, who went bankrupt with their first business and start with a new venture, usually make it. During the first business setup they learned and the second time they knew what to do and what to omit to prevent a failure. Well known rich people, who had to accept losses, have gained all they lost back and often more. They have not been sorry, did not take any time to be depressed, but build up their company anew. They already knew how to get rich. They only repeated, what has made them make a lot of money. With each failure you gain new skills and new knowledge.

Very successful people say they failed a few times. The distinction between them and people, who are not successful, is, that they always continued. Only if you go on to achieve your set goal, you have the chance to become highly successful. Make giving up never a choice. Their success grew each time they failed. You already see here that failure is on the way to success.

A Formula One driver has surely not been a winner in his first race. Did this hold him back to participate? Of course not, because he could not have become a Formula One driver. He doesn't give up, he goes to the next race and he will become better and better. He doesn't see himself being a failure, but someone, who increases his performance.

No one is perfect. Imperfections make us special. It is an imperfection that makes a person more sympathetically. The highs and lows of life make life worth to be lived. When there is a winner, there is also a loser. After someone has lost and goes to the next contest, he gets a chance to win. Those, who never try, can never win and those, who give up, are the real losers.

What is a failure for you? Whenever you have a failure, do not focus on it, but try again. The next time you will not fail, but win. Edison said about his one thousand tests to find the right material to make a light bulb give light, that it took one thousand steps to reach the goal.
