Believe You Can Succeed

By Becky Fox

Being successful can be many different things in life. Sucess can mean personal prosperity, a fine home, vacations, financial freedom or even being looked up by many people in your family or business. Success means winning.

It's nonsense to think you can make a mountain move away just by saying, "Mountain, move away". It's simply impossible. But we can move a mountain with belief. You can win success by believing you can succeed.

If you bring out the best in you, feel great, have a positive outlook, then your future opens up many doors. Goodness comes to those who push and work hard.

Belief is the thermostat that regulates what we accomplish in life. Study the shuffling down there in mediocrity. He believes he is worth much and he will receive much. He believes he can reach to the top he will. However if he feels that he can't do better, then he won't, that he will never reach to the the top, he won't.

Think and believe big and you will come out with big results. When we face tough problems, we stayed mired in the mud until we take action. Hope is a start. Hope needs action to win victories. Put the action principle to work. Next time you experience big fear or little fear, steady yourself.

In one way or another, Fear prevents people from getting what they want from life. Condition yourself with this fact, all confidence is developed. No one is born with confidence. Fear of all kinds and sizes is a form of psychological infection.

Here are two specific things to do to build confidence through efficient management of your memory bank. Deposit only positive thoughts in your memory bank. Withdraw only positive thoughts from your memory bank.

Refuse to withdraw the unpleasant thoughts from your memory bank. When you remember situations of any kind, concentrate on the good part of the experience, forget the bad. Bury it. If you find yourself thinking negatively, then shut your mind off.

Confident action produces confident thinking. Be a front sitter, sitting in the front builds confidence. Practice making eye contact. How a person uses his eyes tells us a lot about that person.

Usually if people can't look you in the eyes, they are not being honest or straight forward. They act as if they are afraid or have done something wrong, guilty. Maybe they are afraid of you.

On a positive side, the more you speak up, the more you add to you confidence, and easier to speak up next time. Speaking more often, helps you build more and more confidence. Make a suggestion, ask questions, be part of the conversation.

Speak up, it's a confidence-building vitamin. Smile big. Most folks have heard at one time or another that a smile will give them a real boost. A big smile gives you confidence, a big smile gives you confidence, a big smile beats fear, rolls away worry, defeats despondency.
